I’ll admit, today’s blog entry started out as a tribute to Mother’s Day. With flowers being the number one gift for Mom, my intent was to share some ideas for outdoor planters. While searching I came across these incredible little birdhouses. I just had to share them with you. In addition to their design aesthetics the variety of materials used to construct the houses caught my attention. These are great examples on how to add texture and personality to your outdoor living space with wood, ceramic and concrete. Plus, they do make great Mother’s Day gifts. Happy Mother’s Day! a.
