I’m a girl with freckles, so I couldn’t resist. I like this. An inspiring poster for any girl’s room. Photo: FinnyAndZook
I’ll admit, today’s blog entry started out as a tribute to Mother’s Day. With flowers being the number one gift for Mom, my intent was to share some ideas for outdoor planters. While searching I came across these incredible little birdhouses. I just had to share them with you. In addition to their design aesthetics the variety of materials used to construct the houses caught my attention. These are great examples on how to add texture and personality to your outdoor living space with wood, ceramic and concrete. Plus, they do make great Mother’s Day gifts. Happy Mother’s Day! a. Lately I have been drawn to everything chevron. It’s a pattern that is being used in every aspect of design these days, from fashion to wallpaper and I love it. It can be very chic and subdued, but I’m attracted to the playfulness of the bold pattern and the many variations of colour being used. Here are some simple and affordable ways to incorporate chevron into your home without investing a lot of time or money into a trend. a.
